Lancome Magie Noire Perfume does not follow the classical note development, rather it starts with top notes of Galbanum, Cassia, Hyacinth, Bulgarian Rose, Raspberry, and Bergamot giving it full exposure to tangy as well as sweet fragrance, and then suddenly when at its peak, it moves to middle and low notes and then moves backward towards top notes. The middle notes provide a sweet fresh fragrance due to Honey, Narcissus, Cedar, Orris Root, Ylang-Ylang, Tuberose, Jasmine, and Lily-of-the-Valley; whereas the base notes give a forest-like aroma due to the presence of Oakmoss, Spices, Civet, Incense, Patchouli, Amber, Myrrh, Sandalwood, Vetiver and Musk.
