Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been a Bulgari global ambassador since 2021, yet her own words about perfume point well beyond one house.
So, what perfume does Priyanka Chopra wear? In her own words: Kilian Forbidden Games as her everyday scent, Bvlgari Allegra Baciami to play her Citadel spy, and Cartier La Panthère in a 2023 interview. She also says she has no signature fragrance, changes scents often and layers them. Dior Poison was her mother’s perfume, not hers.
That is the short answer. The longer one reads like a passport, because the evidence sits in different places and different years. Below, each stamp marks a stop on the route from Mumbai to New York, with every perfume labeled by how solid the proof is.
Boarding pass: what perfume does Priyanka Chopra wear, and how sure are we?
Before the stamps, a word on paperwork. Celebrity scent stories get copied from site to site until a guess looks like a fact. To keep this one clean, every perfume below carries one of four labels.
- Confirmed (own words): she named it herself in an interview, video or post.
- Paid / ambassador: a brand contract or campaign. Real, but commercial.
- Reported: a credible outlet attributes it to her, with no direct quote.
- Fan claim / unverified: repeated online, with no source we could trace.
One perfume, Bvlgari Allegra Baciami, sits in two boxes at once: she named it herself, and she also works with the house that makes it. We flag that overlap plainly rather than pretend it isn’t there.
If you collect these stories, our wider guide to what perfumes celebrities actually wear uses the same kind of sourcing.
Stamp 1: Home, Mumbai and the Bollywood years
The first stamp in the passport is not a red carpet. It is a childhood memory. Long before brand deals, the scent that marked Priyanka was the one her mother wore.
Dior Poison: her mother’s perfume (Confirmed, own words, but not hers)
Around the release of her memoir Unfinished, she shared an Instagram post about her mother, Dr. Madhu Chopra. In it she wrote that what she remembered most was “her perfume: Dior’s Poison,” as Republic World reported in December 2020. She described the scent trailing wherever her mother walked.
That is a confirmed statement, but read it carefully. It tells us what her mother wore, not what Priyanka wears. Several content farms have turned this into “Priyanka’s favorite perfume.” There is no evidence for that leap.
Poison itself is a landmark of the 1980s. Retail listings credit perfumer Edouard Flechier and a 1985 launch, with plum, wild berries, coriander and anise up top, a heart of rose, carnation, tuberose, honey, cinnamon and incense, and a base of amber, sandalwood, cedar and white musk. It is dense, purple and theatrical, built for big rooms. If that smoky white-floral heart appeals, our edit of the best tuberose perfumes covers gentler modern takes.
The Trussardi question (Fan claim / unverified)
Search her name and you will soon hit “Trussardi Donna” or “Trussardi Delicate Rose.” Some Indian lifestyle lists say she has declared her love for Trussardi Donna many times. We looked for the interview behind that line and could not find one.
The articles that repeat it cite no quote, no date and no video. Until a primary source turns up, Trussardi belongs in the unverified box. The same goes for Dolce & Gabbana The One and Ralph Lauren Romance, which appear on aggregator sites with either no citation or a citation we could not locate.
None of this means she has never worn them. It means nobody has shown that she did, and a careful guide should say so.
Miss World to movie star: the scent habit forms
Priyanka won Miss World in 2000 and spent the next fifteen years as one of Hindi cinema’s biggest names. Her Bollywood-era endorsements were largely beauty and lifestyle brands such as Pantene, Garnier and Lux. None of the endorsement lists we checked included a fragrance contract from this period.
What the record does show is a habit. In a September 2015 HELLO! interview, as her US career was taking off, she named perfume among her beauty must-haves and said she changes her scent regularly. That restlessness is the thread that runs through every later stamp.
Stamp 2: Quantico and the US crossover
The second stamp is New York. In 2015 Priyanka became the lead of ABC’s Quantico, the first South Asian woman to headline an American network drama. American press interest in her beauty routine spiked, and so did questions about fragrance.
No signature, by design (Confirmed, own words)
The interviews from these years are revealing for what they do not say. In beauty features from the Quantico era, she talks about coconut oil hair massages and her mother’s turmeric-and-yogurt face mask, family rituals that carry their own warm, homely scent. What she does not do is name a single, loyal perfume.
That fits her later explanation. She treats fragrance as a mood-setter and a costume piece rather than a fixed identity. For readers hoping for one bottle to copy, that is frustrating. For anyone building a wardrobe, it is a useful model, much like the rotating approach we describe in famous women and their favorite perfumes.
A bedtime spritz (Confirmed, own words)
One small, charming detail came out in a 2021 Who What Wear routine interview. She said she sprays a little perfume before bed, calling it a habit and saying she likes to feel fresh when she goes to sleep. She did not name the bottle.
In the same interview she mentioned liking body moisturizers that smell good, naming a Diptyque body butter. Scented layers under perfume are part of how she wears fragrance, even when the perfume itself goes unnamed.
Stamp 3: The Bulgari era
The third stamp is Rome. In August 2021, Bulgari named Priyanka Chopra Jonas a global ambassador. L’Officiel USA covered the announcement, describing her as the new international face of the jewelry house.
Does the Bulgari deal cover perfume? (Paid / ambassador)
This is where many guides overreach. The announcement coverage frames the role around jewelry, and her early campaigns were for pieces such as B.zero1 and Serpenti. In her own launch post, as reported by Yahoo UK, she said she bonded with Bulgari’s CEO over India and mentioned both the gemstones in the jewelry and the flowers in the brand’s scents.
So fragrance is part of the house she represents, and she has spoken warmly about it. But we found no Bulgari perfume campaign with her as the named face. The accurate label is “ambassador for the house, with jewelry as the headline category.” Anyone telling you she is “the face of Bulgari perfume” is stretching it.
She shares the Bulgari roster with other stars whose scent stories we have traced, including Anne Hathaway’s perfume picks and what Zendaya wears.
Kilian Forbidden Games: the everyday bottle (Confirmed, own words)
The clearest answer she has ever given came in a 2022 Grazia UK beauty interview. Asked about fragrance, she named Kilian’s Forbidden Games as her everyday perfume.
That matters because Kilian has no known commercial tie to her. It is the most independent piece of evidence in this whole passport.
Forbidden Games launched in 2012 in Kilian’s “In the Garden of Good and Evil” collection. Osmoz credits perfumer Calice Becker and lists cinnamon, peach, apple and plum on top, geranium, jasmine and rose in the heart, and vanilla, opoponax and honey in the base. It wears like a spiced fruit bowl drizzled with honey, glossy at first and resinous as it settles.
That honey-and-resin base links neatly to our guide to the best honey perfumes, if you want the mood at a different price.
Bvlgari Allegra Baciami: the spy’s perfume (Confirmed, own words + Paid / ambassador)
In the same Grazia interview, she explained that she picks a scent for each character she plays. For Nadia Sinh, her spy in Prime Video’s Citadel, she wore Bvlgari Allegra Baciami, describing the character as “quite badass.”
This is genuinely her statement. It is also a product from the house that pays her as an ambassador. Both things are true, and readers can weigh them as they like.
Allegra Baciami is an Eau de Parfum by Bulgari master perfumer Jacques Cavallier, according to the brand. Harrods lists gardenia, vanilla and amber as its notes, and Bulgari’s US product page centers it on gardenia with vanilla support. Think creamy white petals over a warm, sweet skin, more evening glamour than office crisp. Vanilla fans can find more in our round-up of the best vanilla perfumes.
Mixing and layering (Confirmed, own words)
Grazia also quoted her saying she likes to mix up her fragrances, either trying new ones or wearing a couple together. That is the habit from her 2015 interview, now with a method.
Layering Forbidden Games with Allegra Baciami would be one logical pairing: fruit and honey over gardenia and vanilla. She has not said she does exactly that, so treat it as a suggestion, not a report.
Anomaly is haircare, not perfume
In 2021 she also launched Anomaly, a haircare line made in partnership with Maesa. It is not a fragrance brand, and it does not sell perfume. In her 2021 Who What Wear interview, though, she called its dry shampoo a favorite and said it “smells divine,” which is the closest Anomaly comes to this story.
If you want your hair to carry scent, a purpose-made product is kinder than spraying alcohol-based perfume on it. See our explainer on hair perfumes.
Stamp 4: Today, from Los Angeles to the Oscars
The fourth stamp covers 2023 to November 2026, and it is where most searches for what perfume does Priyanka Chopra wear really land. She splits her life between the US, India and filming locations, and her fragrance answers have stayed true to form.
Cartier La Panthère (Confirmed, own words)
In a February 2023 Who What Wear beauty interview, she repeated that she does not have a signature fragrance. She said she uses scent to set a mood, choosing one for each character, and that she was wearing Cartier La Panthère at the time.
“At the time” is the key phrase. It is a snapshot, not a lifelong loyalty. La Panthère launched in 2014, created by Cartier’s in-house perfumer Mathilde Laurent. Osmoz classes it as a floral chypre with fresh top notes, gardenia in the heart and oakmoss with white musks in the base. Cartier describes it as a radiant gardenia with a soft, velvety musk.
Notice the overlap. Allegra Baciami and La Panthère both build around gardenia. Combined with the honeyed warmth of Forbidden Games, a clear taste profile emerges: creamy white flowers, ripe fruit, and a soft, sweet base. If you shop by that profile rather than by name, browse our best floral perfumes.
“That’s just how I smell” (Confirmed, own words)
In September 2023, at a Jonas Brothers concert at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, a fan called out to ask what perfume she wears. Her playful reply, captured in a clip covered by the Free Press Journal, was “That’s just how I smell.”
It is a joke, not a product answer. But it does tell you she enjoys keeping the mystery, which may explain why fans keep filling the gap with guesses.
2025 and 2026: still Bulgari, still no perfume line (Paid / ambassador)
The Bulgari partnership is clearly active in 2026. In January, she and Anne Hathaway starred in a Serpenti jewelry campaign film. At the 98th Academy Awards in March, she wore a Bulgari Serpenti high jewelry necklace set with a sapphire of more than 14 carats, and she appeared at the brand’s Eclettica high jewelry events in the spring. All of these are jewelry moments, not fragrance launches.
In April 2026 she was also named a global ambassador for Bentley, which has nothing to do with perfume.
On the business side, Anomaly left US retail at the end of 2025 to focus on international markets, and in May 2026 trade press reported that Maesa had sold the brand to Reliance Retail. As of 4 November 2026, we found no Priyanka Chopra perfume, no celebrity fragrance line, and no fragrance campaign with her as the face.

Festive and wedding-season edit
November is peak season in India: Diwali parties, then a long run of weddings with mehndi, sangeet and reception nights. Priyanka’s confirmed bottles are all warm, sweet and floral, which suits festive dressing well. Here is how to borrow her taste for each occasion, with the climate in mind.
Diwali evenings
Diwali is about lamps, sweets and marigolds, so honeyed fruit fits naturally. A Forbidden Games style of scent, with plum, cinnamon and honey, sits comfortably beside mithai and incense. Keep it to two sprays at most, because rooms full of diyas and people get warm fast.
Mehndi and haldi mornings
Daytime functions are often outdoors and hot. This is the moment for restraint. Choose something lighter than a gardenia-vanilla parfum, or wear one spray of your richer scent low on the body, at the back of the knees or the waist, so it rises gently rather than hitting people in the face.
Sangeet nights
You will dance, sweat and hug a lot of relatives. A creamy gardenia like Allegra Baciami or La Panthère works well here, since white florals bloom with body heat. Apply to moisturized skin before you dress, and carry a small decant for a touch-up halfway through. Our guide to travel-size perfumes has options that fit a clutch.
Receptions and the big night
Receptions are usually indoors and air-conditioned, so this is where the richest bottle earns its place. Poison-level drama is easier to wear in a cool hall than in a garden at noon. Brides planning a scent for the day itself can start with our edit of the best bridal perfumes.
Heat and humidity rules
- Fewer sprays than you would use in a cool climate. Humidity holds scent in the air around you.
- Apply to skin, not to silk, zari or embroidered fabric. Alcohol and perfume oils can mark delicate textiles.
- Moisturize first with an unscented or matching lotion. Hydrated skin holds fragrance longer.
- Store bottles away from sunlight and car dashboards. Indian heat ages perfume quickly.
- Consider a perfume oil or attar for long outdoor days. Oil sits closer to the skin and lasts well in heat.

Gifting the Priyanka mood
If you are buying for a fan who keeps asking what perfume does Priyanka Chopra wear, do not chase a “signature” that does not exist. Her own words point to a profile instead: creamy gardenia, ripe fruit, honey and soft vanilla, worn by mood and often layered. Pick one scent that fits that profile, add a body lotion with a complementary note, and you have given something that echoes how she actually wears fragrance. Browse the full range at the Giftexo shop and filter by floral or gourmand families to find a match.
A short handwritten note explaining the gardenia-and-honey idea makes the gift feel thoughtful rather than generic, especially during Diwali or wedding season.
Customs desk: quick answers
Does Priyanka Chopra have a signature perfume?
No. She told Who What Wear in 2023 that she does not have a signature fragrance. She uses scent to set a mood, picks a perfume for each character she plays, and has said since at least 2015 that she changes her scent regularly. In 2022 she added that she likes trying new perfumes and layering two together.
What is Priyanka Chopra’s everyday perfume?
In a 2022 Grazia UK interview, she named Kilian Forbidden Games as her everyday perfume. It is a 2012 fruity floral by Calice Becker with cinnamon, plum and apple on top and honey and vanilla in the base. Since she rotates scents, treat this as her stated everyday pick at that time, not a lifelong loyalty.
Is Priyanka Chopra the face of a Bulgari perfume?
Not as far as we can find. She has been a Bulgari global ambassador since August 2021, but her campaigns center on jewelry such as Serpenti and B.zero1. She has praised the house’s scents and said she wore Bvlgari Allegra Baciami for her Citadel role, but we found no fragrance campaign with her as the named face.
What perfume did Priyanka Chopra wear for Citadel?
She told Grazia UK that she wore Bvlgari Allegra Baciami Eau de Parfum to play Nadia Sinh, her spy character in Citadel. The scent centers on gardenia with vanilla and amber. Note that she is also a paid Bulgari ambassador, so this pick is her own statement but comes from a house she works with.
Does Priyanka Chopra wear Trussardi?
We could not verify it. Several lists claim she loves Trussardi Donna, and others mention Trussardi Delicate Rose, but none cite an interview, video or post where she says so. Until a primary source appears, Trussardi is a fan claim. Her confirmed picks are Kilian, Bvlgari and Cartier.
Does Priyanka Chopra have her own perfume brand?
No. As of November 2026 she has not launched a fragrance. Her beauty brand was Anomaly, a haircare line launched in 2021 with Maesa. It exited US retail at the end of 2025, and in May 2026 trade press reported its sale to Reliance Retail. Anomaly sells shampoo and conditioner, not perfume.
What perfume did Priyanka Chopra’s mother wear?
Dior Poison. Priyanka shared in an Instagram post linked to her memoir Unfinished that her mother’s perfume was what she remembered most. Some sites mistakenly list Poison as Priyanka’s own favorite. She has not said she wears it herself; it is a family memory.
